  1. the answer for ductility is : ability to undergo large permanent deformation in tension ( like drawing of thin wires)
    though ductility and malleability are use synonymously, there is a small technical difference between them in that malleability is the ability to undergo large permanent deformation in compression ( like flattening of a metal to sheet)..
